BOOM! Studios | Designer

2013-2017 | Los Angeles, CA

As a Designer, and previously a Production Designer, my role focused on logo design and branding for new comic series, special editions, and collection hardcovers. I also executed the day to day print production responsibilities for sending multiple books to press per week. All together, I’ve lead design and print production on over 50 collected comic book series and 300 single issue comics.
 

DC Entertainment | Assistant Designer and Editor

2012-2013 | Burbank, CA

I worked at DC Entertainment helping the Design department and the Editorial department with the launch of DC's digital platform. On the design side I worked on creating digital banners, on the editorial side I worked doing quality control on the transition from print to digital format.
 

Persona Magazine | Art Editor

2012 | Tucson, AZ

Persona magazine is a small, student run organization that produces and annual magazine of student art and literature, this was its 32nd publication. I worked with the Art Director and Designer running submissions, choosing artwork, and compiling the magazine for print. I also helped curate the accompanying exhibition. 
 

Arizona Daily Wildcat | Designer and Illustrator

2010-2011 | Tucson, AZ

The Arizona Daily Wildcat is a fully student-run daily newspaper. I shared creative control over the design and layout of the paper, working mainly as the designer for the sports section. I also created several illustrations for the newspaper.

Education:

General Assembly | User Experience Design Immersive

2018 | Santa Monica, CA

A 10 week immersive bootcamp to learn User Experience Design principles and practices. Each two weeks were a design sprint involving product conceptualization, validation, user research, problem statements, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, UI design, and branding. We worked in agile systems and followed human centered design principles.
